We have some good news to share — goat grazing on our common lots is beginning earlier than originally scheduled!
CAPRA Environmental will be bringing their goats to Sterlingshire's common lots on April 29. Before grazing could commence, our biologist was required to conduct a site review and authorize the work to proceed as required by our California Department of Fish and Wildlife Lake and Streambed Agreement. We are pleased to report that clearance has been obtained, and working closely with CAPRA Environmental, we were able to move up the start date.
We anticipate that the goats will complete grazing across all four common lots over the next couple of weeks. Please be aware that you may see the herd and associated fencing on or near the common areas during this time.
The Board is pleased to have this work underway ahead of schedule, as the grazing directly addresses the Notice to Abate recently issued to the Association by the El Dorado Hills Fire Department. Getting this resolved promptly helps keep our community in compliance and reduces fire risk for everyone.
